Saulteaux
The Saulteaux are the western branch of the Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) people, living in the forests, lakes and parklands of central Canada. Many of their stories tell of Nanahboozhoo, a powerful figure who can change his shape.
The wider Ojibwe nation, to which the Saulteaux belong, counts more than two hundred thousand people in Canada and the United States.
