Onondaga
The Onondaga are one of the Six Nations of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy, traditionally the keepers of its central council fire. Their lands lie around Onondaga Lake in present-day central New York.
Today a few thousand Onondaga people live on their territory south of Syracuse, New York, and at Six Nations of the Grand River in Ontario.
