Origin of the Pleiades

In a good autumn hunting camp by a lake, the children meet every day to dance. An old man dressed in white feathers warns them to stop, and their parents will not give them food for a feast. Light with hunger, the dancing children rise into the sky and become the Pleiades.

This film was made together with collaborators from the Lakota, Inuit, Tohono O'odham, Diné, Sámi, Finnish and Estonian peoples.
