Beaver and Porcupine

Beaver and Porcupine are close friends, until Beaver tires of finding quills in his house and leaves Porcupine stranded on a stump in the middle of a lake. Porcupine sings the lake into ice and walks home, then repays the trick by leaving Beaver at the top of a tall tree. Beaver's slow climb down is why tree bark looks broken.
