On a dark night on the prairie, field mice hold a feast and dance inside an old buffalo skull, lit by a tiny fire and kept in time by a wee drum. They are so happy they do not notice the pair of fiery eyes coming closer across the grass. A story of joy, and of the dangers that move in the dark.

This film was made together with collaborators from the Lakota, Inuit, Tohono O'odham, Diné, Sámi, Finnish and Estonian peoples.
